The Germinated Truth: Journeys Garden

The Germinated Truth: Journeys Garden

I happen to run across a Instagram that keeps you up to date with their ARIZONA INDOOR Cannabis Garden.

They got their mother room, they propagate, they harvest they even work a bit in the industry.
With Kentucky not legal at all yet I wanted to dabble in the politics.
Arizona doesn't make room for the local to get their craft cannabis on the shelf. To put it blunt if you just took your cannabis into a shop and tried to strike a deal to get your product on shelves, you can expect to be kicked out and possibly get the cops called on you. In Arizona you can grow up to 12 plants.

The indoor grow routine for Journey goes as follows: "I have a tent for my moms and clones that I keep it’s all ran on Kosher nutrients I hold moms for 2 cycles than flower them and restart a different mom from clone or until I seed it out or start a new strain. My flower cycle is all ran on kosher- also I do a 3-4 week veg before flipping to flower. I Normally run one strain of multiple plants plus what ever mom plants I need to get rid of."
Harvesting 10 plants at a time and sticking with Kosher products do to reliability with PH and all around constant results, it comes down to that curing process. For those that do not know about curing or the process of growing cannabis you have seedling- veg state- pre flower- flower- harvest- cure-use cannabis as you intended. For those that want to get super down to the core with the plant, bust open the stalks and mesh the white fibers with lime & water and you get hempcrete which is mold and fire proof, great for insulation!
ANY-HOO..... CURING!! 🤤
Journey does the following:
Sections of plant hanging temps are 60°F humidity indirect airflow for up to 14 days than it go’s into a grove bag for another 2-3 weeks.
The reason you cure is because the plant particles will start to break down. Gases get released when this happens, those gases have no place to go when in a sealed bag or jar, so one must burp them. Not doing this will damage your cannabis with mold.
These green rods picture above in the dirt will help these ladies when weight is put on later in flower. Journey has so many pics on their "Instagram" be sure to stop by and check out the latest on their page!! Thank you Journey for your time and let'n us dig around for knowledge in your garden! So here we are today, in the year 2022. In Arizona where you can grow and smoke, the rules are made to support the rich! I hope Kentucky includes craft farming when they think of entry prices. Still, to grow and create strains for fun, or just harvesting and smelling those nugs, its a new day and the grass is much greener on some sides than others.  Life is a Journey, where will you take yours!!- Journey
