Could cannabis, marijuana, weed, keesha, whatever you want to call it, be the forbidden fruit? What plant is more idolized, and demands attention like reefer? If you think about it, the flower has seeds in it. Does this not make it a fruit? The definition of fruit is a ripened ovary that encodes seeds! Cannabis, has seeds. The flower cycle ends when it ripens: also defined as 'a series of transformations' . Cannabis has both veg & flower cycles, during which a series of transformations, occur. Basically everything about the plant from leaves to the flower to trichomes change color. So are we saying cannabis is a fruit? Nope, however IF IT IS- your smoking ovaries!!
Surely there will be the folks who say, cannabis is a herb. Let's take a look at what a herb is.
Herb Definition:
any plant with leaves, seeds, or flowers used for flavoring, food, medicine, or perfume. According to Google that is!
Well weed meets those requirements. What about the botany definition?
BOTANY Herb-
any seed-bearing plant that does not have a woody stem and dies down to the ground after flowering.
"the banana plant is the world's largest herb"
The DOES NOT HAVE A WOODY STEM , a bit of a disqualifier if you ask us!
To get deep with it Cannabaceae is the actual plant family cannabis belongs to. There's a total of 170 species of Cannabaceae plants, so guanja has many cousins , and some of which would kill if used AT ALL!
Ponder on this. Share this and let's have fun seeing our minds collide with absolutes and high hopes!!
