POLICE RAIDS COULD SOON COST THE CITY- & PAY THE RAIDED FAMILIES IN DAMAGES- Thanks to TEXAS LAWYER

Imagine the police raiding your home, with their actions being protected by sovereign immunity. Legislators have to consent to suing a law/government entity. For those seeking to shape the future and make new roads for future generations, it's essential to pay attention. Laws exist for a reason; they keep a check and balance. I have to trust the court to protect my rights, but the courts have to grant or deny THE RIGHTS YOU ARE FIGHTING FOR. For the sake of time, if you go to court and fight for your right to publish that 3+3=100 and the courts conclude it is six, not 100, your rights are denied. If you draw up a contract between you and a second party and both agree that in your practice, 3=50, present this as evidence that your deal is worth 100, and the courts will favor your desire. This lawyer is not challenging the government entity, but providing an agreed-upon Amendment that our government swore to uphold. The target has shifted from suing the government to providing the necessary documents to begin acting on behalf of the rights of an innocent citizen.

Jeff Redfern from Virginia sued the city of McKinney for damages that occurred due to a police raid. A little backstory: the homeowner was out of town, and an unrelated subject happened to run inside her home. The suspect was running from the police. The cops destroyed her home in the process of getting the alleged suspect in cuffs and landing an arrest, citing "Eminent Domain." This is a chess move and leans on the 5th Amendment. The government, in something like a raid, is not an act of government occupying your land for public use; therefore, compensation is due thanks to the 5th Amendment. Vicki Baker of McKinney, Texas, was awarded $59,656.59 since the cops destroyed her home while pursuing a wanted man. Overall, the city of McKinney, a governmental entity, will be paying an innocent property owner for all that was damaged or destroyed by police. Once a raid is determined to be a "taking," then compensation is necessary. Does this mean, in the future, if no drugs or whatever is looked for not found in a raid, and no crime is discovered at all, meaning all involved are innocent, the city where the raid takes place has to pay up? How much will they tax that awarded cash? How long would the process take? They ruled in her favor in June of 2022.

What does this mean for the future of cannabis business owners nationwide? If no crime is committed, then the government has occupied the dwelling and therefore should compensate the ones who own the property for their use for the greater good!

Stewart's Passion wants to share the canna-news with everyone. We want you to smoke responsibly and respect your community, bringing wealth to your community by inspiring those around you to be leaders. Respect goes a long way. As the new generation graduates and gets into law, gets behind the wheel of the new cop car and propels our future, please keep in mind that everyone has a family to play a role in. Remember that until you speak up, the courts will continue as usual. The so-called "unfair" system is only that until the bully is approached, and until one seeks the knowledge, the know-how, and refuses to be silenced. How long have they slept on such a rule, such an effect on the community? Yes, it is brought to light now, but it took some digging and the right place at the right time. Would this be the case for, let's say, Breonna Taylor, or the next raid to go south? Vicki Baker's situation & home raid was a super clean incident. It isn't always like that though.
